Dosage Instructions Place 2 drops (200ug ivermectin) per bird onto the skin, under the feathers between the shoulders.
Use before the start of racing season.
Contra indications For pigeon use only.
Do not use during the main moulting season. Do not use during the hatching period.
Do not use whilst young birds are in the nest.
Do not use this product on young birds less than 8 weeks of age.
Do not use this product in any species other than those named. Serious reactions including deaths have been reported after the application of the active substance to dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles.
Avoid contact between the product and skin, eyes or mouth.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after applying this product.

Coxitabs – Tablet Treatment for Coccidiosis

Product Description
Coxitabs – Tablet Treatment for Coccidiosis.

Active Ingredients Diclazuril 2.5mg
Dosage and Administration One tablet per pigeon, regardless of weight to be placed in the mouth. To facilitate dosing, the pigeon should be held by a second person. The tablet should be gently pushed through the opened beak and throat as far as possible into the gullet. All birds in the same loft should be treated simultaneously to prevent re-infection by untreated birds.
Contra Indications and Warnings For use in pigeons only.
Do not administer with drugs that may cause vomiting.
NOT FOR USE IN PIGEONS INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Birds should be treated when mated and again 3 – 4 weeks later in order to prevent infection of nestlings.
Birds should be treated following transportation to shows or races where they may be exposed to contaminated cages, baskets etc.
Wash hands after administration of the tablets to birds and after clearing waste from treated birds.
Storage Do not store above 25°C.
Store in a dry place.
Keep blister in outer carton.

Further Information Coxitabs can safely be administered to pigeons during the breeding season; the product has no adverse effects on the condition of the nestlings. In order to reduce the risk of re-infection following treatment, good management and hygiene practices are essential, in particular regular cleaning of the premises to remove pigeon excreta.

Spartrix – Tablet Canker Treatment

Product Description
A one tablet canker treatment

  • Handy tablet form so pigeons can be treated individually ensuring all birds receive the required dose

  • Whenever canker is seen, all birds should be treated
  • Containing 10mg Carnidazole
  • Adult birds should be treated before breeding and again before racing season
Active Ingredients Carnidazole 10.0mg
Dosage and Administration Dose 20mg/kg bodyweight.
Adult pigeons: One tablet per bird.
Young, weaned pigeons: Half a tablet per bird.
Young pigeons: At weaning
Adult pigeons: Before mating; during the first part of the brooding period; after return from races when the birds have been in travel boxes/baskets.

The tablet (Half tablet) is placed directly into the mouth. To assist dosing the pigeon should be held by a second person. The tablet should be gently pushed through the open beak and throat as far as possible into the gullet. All birds in the loft should preferably be treated before feeding. At the time of treatment no drinking troughs should be present until 2 hours after treatment when they can be returned to the loft after thorough disinfection. All pigeons in the loft should be treated simultaneously to prevent untreated birds acting as a source of re-infection.Repeat the treatment when the possibility of re-infection is high – at the start of the reproductive period, at the beginning of brooding, when bringing in new birds.

Not for use in pigeons intended for human consumption.
USER WARNINGS: Direct contact with the product must be avoided. Wear impermeable gloves when handling the product. Wash hands immediately after administration of the tablets to birds and after clearing waste from treated birds.
Do not touch the eyes while handling the product. In case of accidental eye contact, wash the eye thoroughly with water. If, after handling the product, irritation develops, wash the affected area thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS Contains Amprolium hydrochloride 3.8% w/v (38 mg/ml);  Levamisole hydrochloride 1.7% w/v (17mg/ml); Ronidazole 1.2% w/v (12 mg/ml). Contains Diclazuril 2.5mg; Fenbendazole 8.0mg; Ronidazole 20.0mg
DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS For oral administration. Dilute 6.0ml (1 capful) Harkers 3 in 1 Soluble in 1 litre drinking water. Offer the diluted solution to the birds daily for a 7 day period. Always make a fresh solution daily. Do not allow the birds to drink from any other source. Precautionary worming is advised 3 weeks before the start of breeding.
