  • Vitamin D for a shiny, healthy coat and for efficient absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids maintain skin and joint health.

An all year round top up

Lillidale Cod Liver Oil is a natural source of vitamin A and D. Vitamin A is essential for bone growth, immune function, cell division and testicular and ovarian function. It is also beneficial for skin and mucous membranes. Vitamin D, the ‘sunshine vitamin’, is essential for the absorption and utilisation of calcium and potassium, which are required for skeletal growth.

Lillidale Cod Liver Oil is also rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which can help maintain joint function, especially in horses susceptible to arthritic disease and also promotes supple skin and a rich glossy coat. The addition of Lillidale Cod Liver Oil supplement to feed helps to reduce dustiness and aids mixing of the feed.

Note: Lillidale Cod Liver Oil supplement will provide a source of slow burning energy for ‘fizzy’ types, used in conjunction with a high fibre, low cereal ration. If in doubt about the health or condition of your horse, you should seek veterinary advice.
